OSS was founded in 2016 by us, Josefina and Pablo — an Argentine couple creating jewelry together from our studio in Madrid.

We met in Buenos Aires in 2011. At the time, Josefina was finishing her fashion design studies while Pablo was working as a store sales manager. Even before jewelry entered our lives, we already knew we wanted to build something together.

In 2013, shortly after moving into our first home together, we decided to start our own project. Originally, it was meant to be a men’s shoe brand. We enrolled in a wax carving course to create metal accessories for the shoes — and unexpectedly fell completely in love with jewelry instead.

We never made a single shoe accessory.

From the beginning, we were drawn to the workshop life, the process of making, and the freedom of creating objects by hand.

OSS slowly grew from that experience.

Most of our pieces begin without sketches and evolve naturally during the production process. Imperfections, textures and unexpected forms are embraced rather than corrected. No two pieces are exactly alike.

In 2019, we moved to Paris, where we spent five important years developing OSS further. By the end of 2024, after finding out we were expecting our first child together, we decided to begin a new chapter in Madrid, where we are currently based.

OSS exists somewhere between jewelry, sculpture and object design — but above all, it is something deeply personal to us.
